Prezi Zooms Presentations Forward With 3D and Fade-in Animation

Prezi, the zooming presentation software, opposed to static presentations, today announced the launch of 3D and Fade-in Animation. 3D backgrounds allow presenters to impress an audience with visual effects. Fade-in Animation is a storytelling tool used for selectively sequencing information to add dramatic tension. Text, graphics, or other media objects can be revealed on cue to enhance specific presentations points. Together, these visual effects help people share big ideas and tell powerful stories.

“To think big and tell inspiring stories you need to have space to develop and share your ideas,” said Peter Arvai, Prezi CEO. “Now, with a simple click you can create zooming presentations in 3D — a true space for your ideas, and a memorable journey for your audience.”

Created by architect and visual artist Adam Somlai-Fischer, Prezi is clearly at the opposite of the traditional presentation. Instead of disjointed slides, Prezi is an open presentation canvas that enables the presenter to explain its thoughts in a way that wows the audiences. Prezi allows to use spatial relationships that help convey meaning and help audiences better comprehend and remember presentation content.

With the 3D design and technology to the masses, the visual power instantly captures the audience’s attention while Fade-in Animation further enhances the spatial understanding and results in a more memorable experience overall.

“This is 3D made simple. Now Prezi users can create their own 3D backgrounds with a click of a button, or choose from carefully designed and inspiring 3D templates,” said Adam Somlai-Fischer, Prezi co-founder.
